Waste canvas has blue lines for easier count and is made up of woven threads that are held together with a type of starch, which dissolves when wet. Use waste canvas when the fabric to be worked on does not have an even grid or holes to work on.
The grid on the Waste canvas is a guide and once the work is completed, wet and then remove the canvas. You are left with a decorated garment or accessory. Use to cross stitch on fabric articles such as baby blankets, monogram shirts or any project that you wish to personalize.
