Amaryllis Artworks 1512-3 Quaker Alphabet Ball
Description: A charming Quaker-style alphabet design created to be finished as a decorative stitched ball. Each panel features classic Quaker motifs — alphabets, medallions, and small geometric flourishes — arranged in a clean, symmetrical layout. The finished ball has a timeless, heirloom feel and makes a beautiful display piece for stitchers who enjoy traditional sampler elements in a unique 3-D format.
Designed by Denise Harrington Partt, the ball is based on an Archimedean solid called a truncated octahedron, constructed from eight hexagons and six squares. Can be worked in optional multicoloured fabric or a single colour.
